Privacy Policy.

1. What we collect

• When you enroll: your name, email, mobile number, Facebook / Messenger name, country, the course, batch and plan you choose, an optional note, and the photo or PDF of your payment receipt.
• In the student portal and app: your profile (name, photo, location, short bio), the lessons and activities you mark as done, your checklist ticks, flashcard reviews, quiz results, posts, comments, photos and reactions in the community, and when you were last active.
• Class attendance: whether you joined each Zoom class and for how long, from Zoom's participant report.
• Messages you send us by email, WhatsApp or Messenger.
• We do not collect your location, contacts or anything else from your phone. The app only asks to send notifications if you allow it.

2. Why we use it

• To confirm your enrollment and payment, and create your student portal login.
• To run your classes: your batch's schedule, Zoom links, lessons, recordings, progress, leaderboards and community.
• To contact you about your classes, and, only if you ticked the box, to send Spanish tips and new batch dates (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• We never sell your data and never show you ads.

3. Who can see it

• Your teachers and the school team (Queen and Van) see your enrollment, progress and attendance.
• Other students see only your community profile (name, photo, location, bio, level) and what you post, comment or react to. Batch posts are seen only by your batch.
• Services that help us run the school store or process data for us under their own privacy terms: Supabase (database and sign-in, servers in the EU), Cloudflare (website hosting), Brevo and Kit (emails), Make, Google Drive and Google Sheets (enrollment records and receipts), Zoom (classes and attendance), and GIPHY and YouTube (GIFs and videos you choose to add to posts).

4. How long we keep it

• Your student records are kept while you study with us and for up to 2 years after your last class, so you can come back to the next level.
• Class recordings are available for 30 days and then deleted.
• Payment records are kept as long as the law requires for accounting.

5. Your rights and deleting your account

• You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data at any time. You can edit your profile yourself in the portal.
• To delete your account and data, email info@vamostodoslanguage.com from the email you enrolled with, with the subject "Delete my account". We delete your account, profile, posts, comments and progress within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as payments).
• You can withdraw consent to marketing emails anytime with the unsubscribe link.
• We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012. You can also complain to the Spanish data protection authority (AEPD) or the Philippine National Privacy Commission.

6. Security and children

• Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and the database only lets each student read what they're allowed to see.
• Our classes are for adults and teenagers. Students under 18 need a parent or guardian to enroll for them.

7. Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and tell enrolled students by email when the change matters.
